Every student enrolled at the University of Messina can access a series of online services thanks to a unified authentication system (SSO). These services include access to the University WiFi network, the Microsoft Apps suite including an institutional email account (student webmail), access to the University e-learning platform and online secretarial services (ESSE3).
To obtain an SSO account, you must register on ESSE3.
The SSO credentials are provided when the Secretariat confirms enrollment and typically consist of a username composed of your tax code completed with @studenti.unime.it (e.g.: rssmra80a01f158d@studenti.unime.it) and a password.
In case of lost password, it is possible to recover it through the forgotten password procedure.
If the account does not work to access the various services, it is possible that the secretariat has not confirmed enrollment; in this case it is useful to check the confirmation of registration on the ESSE3 online secretariat service or go in person to your own secretariat.
We also remind you that, after the confirmation of registration by the secretariat or in the case of password recovery or change, 24 hours are necessary for the account to function.
